step-by-step on filling in old spoiler holes [Merged 9-6]

Im going to put a gsx wing on my gs. Soon to be gst. But when i removed the stock spoiler theres a few holes. i was wondering what to use to fill them. thanks a lot

The same stuff you use to fill any other kinda hole. However the best way is to weld the holes and grind the welds down. I used a washer that fit the large hole in the middle and welded that in, and grinded down the welds, sanded the surrounding area, primered and painted to match the color of the car.

seriously you guys!? CMOOOOOON! go to a vinyl shop, get them to match up the color of your trunk with the white vinyl they sell. A good shop will have multiple shades of one color. Then have them cut a piece to match the bottom half of your trunk where the holes are. They'll cut it and cover the trunk and if they're GOOD then they'll make it so that the lines of the vinyl match the edges of the trunk lid. THAT is how you plug the holes temporarily without spending alot of money. Seriously, I think it cost me $20 to have the local guy do it for me and it looks awesome.
