2G Squeaky Steering. Often when it’s cold outside, occasionally even when it’s hot out.

Now that it’s gotten cold out my problem has gotten much worse, no explanation is really needed just watch the attached video and you’ll know what I mean, car still handles exactly as it should just squeaks at low speed steering. I’m on the stock shocks and springs that came on the car 25+ years ago and 250,000 miles ago and plan to get some D2 Coilovers soon just saving up to pay off my credit card bill before I add anymore to it, however when I search I get this forum thread from 2003 and someone suggests lower balls, could anyone with a little more expertise confirm or deny?
