I have a 95 tsi awd, auto and its completely stock. I've just replaced the plugs, wires and air filter. The problem im having is when I accelerate in between 1/4 and 3/4 throttle the car will sputter. Also when It is at full acceleration WOT its slow. Compression is perfect, its got enough fuel pressure and injectors are good, So what can it be??? The old plugs were white when pulled so thats why I checked the fuel source. Could it be a boost leak even though its completely stock??? Anything will help. Thanks,

Kyle,

think some seafoam will help. it will also rev idle between 1k-1.5k by itself even when worm.???

Do a boost leak test... The idle issue could be related or not, so start with the basics. I had a similar issue, and it turned out to be a boost leak at the throttle body shaft seals. Get that leak test done.

I cleaned the carbon buildups out of my engine by sucking some water thru the vacuum line in the intake manifold and when I was doing that I noticed I had an exhaust leak in between the head and manifold. Also at manifold to turbo. Fixed them and the car runs like a champ! :thumb: Anyway thanks for all the help. I will also do a boost leak test just for safety.

Kyle
