speedometer and auto trans

Well, I'm having a bit of an issue. my speedometer has complete failed for a few months now and i can't seem to locate it. Any clue on where it is and how difficult to install? Thanks.

Not sure if your auto or manual but on my auto my rear motor/tranny mount is directly over it. Its by the fire wall and lower subframe towards the middle of the engine bay.
