Low oil light flickering, on when driving, flickering when going over bumps, off when on incline.
---
Just recently got my 97 Eclipse RS. and I have a low oil pressure light. I bought the OPSS from my parts store and put it on jacks. I found the switch way in the back right above the rack and pinion area, found a bit of oil around the area with the old OPSS sticking out. I can see about a quarter inch of thread.

Try as I might, I can't seem to get the stupid clip off. Though, I notice the design of the green clip to be abnormal. Should I get a flat-head and push it into the groove thingy on the bottom while I attempt to wiggle it out? Or is there something I'm missing? Advice.

Update: This blows

So here is my advice. If you don't have the tool, you are going to have to break the top of the clip with the red interference lock. Twist the sensor until it is facing you from under the car. You should see the clip being held on by a small internal tab that was under the lock. Find something small enough to pry it up and pray it comes out.

I'm pretty sure if you're good enough, you can probably take it off without breaking anything.

27mm deep socket will do it once the wire is off
