I bought my car with an after market head unit, a Pioneer. From what i can tell it was installed right. When i turn the volume up, the speakers cut out. Theres a small pop noise and all the speakers go silent. The head unit keeps playing the cd or radio like nothing is wrong. All i have to do is turn the head unit on and off again and they start playing like nothing happend. Im not sure if its power related or what, different songs cut out at different volume levels, equalizer settings also effect it. It tends to cut out anytime the volume is just too loud or when a deep bass hits. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Its very annoying, especially since the music isnt even that loud when it happens. I did a search and i couldnt find anything on this.
