what size speakers are in the back of a 91 plymouth laser rs by chance cause i dont want to pull apart the back of of my car just find out but if someone knows that would be awesome but if not o well

Its a pretty shallow 6x8 make sure to keep that in mind when you go shopping.

They are shallow, unless you remove the bracketry from behind the plastic..But I would still look for small depth 6x8's..

I've only seen 6x9" and 6.5" speakers in the rear of a 1G depending on which radio it came with. Are you guys sure about a non standard 6x8" speaker?

Since I'm not into pounding on the wheel well to make a large magnet 6x9" speaker fit I made a baffle plate to offset a standard 6.5". There's more room above the center line.

12volt say's rears are 6.5. they are usually pretty accurate.

They say the same about the Eclipse and that's not correct. CAPS lists two rear mounts one for 16cm speakers and one for 6x9" depending on the radio option.

Well mine came with 6x8..I think..Unless they were 6x9..But when got new aftermarket 6x9's I had to mod the plastic to make it work..

they are shallow 6x9's, look for speakers with a small magnet. if it magnet makes contact with the framework you will have problems.
