Has anyone ever used sound deadening in their 2g to cut down some of the muffler sound?
Here are some pics from the weekend with my eclipse.

I've not used it in my Talon, but I did in my 3000GT vr-4 and it helped tremendously. It was straight piped and even at highway speeds I could only hear a slight growl coming from outback, before it was ridiculously loud and buzzy sounding. It was rubberized spray able type stuff similar to undercoating. I gutted out the hatch area and sprayed it on the the floor, then reassembled it and it worked great!

I never ran a muffler on a turbo car. With a small turbo like a 14b, a 3" straight thru to the rear is plenty quiet. Even more so with a stock 6 bolt bottom end because the compression ratio is so low.

My RS with a muff is way louder than my old GST that was just a bent piece of 3" pipe with a flange and some hangers welded on it.

My RS would get bad vibration rattle on the interior plastic pieces. If you have this problem, the easy way to fix it, in case you don't already know this, is with self adhesive bumpers. Just stick them to the back of the panels or components that are vibrating.

You can get them at like walmart or home depot or any of those places.
Get a few different sizes so they fit where you need them.
I would suggest using Scotch/3m brand cause they're the stickiest. just clean the spot your gonna stick them on with a wax/grease remover and they will never fall off.
