The token usage on that would be astronomical I'm sure. Who can afford to fight millions of Meta and OpenAI bots, let alone all the others? With Meta Muse and OpenAI Dots being launched, we're going to have millions of "personal agent" bots scanning content going forward too. I'm pretty sure Muse is what is a bit part of what we are dealing with.

I just have to figure out how to best mitigate it with server configuration and software.

I've occasionally seen a site where it says something like "Determining if you are Human" without you having to click or answer anything, it just waits a couple seconds and proceeds - and it appears to work. How does that work?
