So, I got my turbo back yesterday from getting rebuilt. All I have to say is that I am AMAZED! I cant believe how good it looks. I was going to write a long post but decided to keep it short and simple and answer your questions along the way. Ive been wanting to rebuild my HX40 for a while now, but I couldnt find a place that was reputable enough, and if I did find a decent shop they were located in BFE. After alot of searching I came across Justin (jusmx141). I was talking to him before I sent my turbo out and asked him all of the 'normal' questions about rebuilding the turbo. I shipped out my turbo from my house in IL to PA (where he is located), Friday, 08/28th and received it back in my hands yesterday 9/04. Having my turbo rebuilt was faster than having DSMlink socket my ECU, which I thought was pretty fast in the first place. It was awesome to see it again and how much different it looked. Customer service with Justin was awesome and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks again for all of the great work!
Anyways, now for the pictures.... I do have a couple of before pics but they were taken with my iPhone, so they are pretty crappy.

Turbo: HX40 8-Blade, .70 A/R T3

This turbo without a doubt had the most stubborn turbine housing I have ever removed. It took heat and a BFH, but it finally gave way. It sure went through a transformation from core to rebuild!
Yes it did. Thanks again Justin
Haha. I saw the first picture and I was like, "I'm not impressed." But then I continued to scroll and it looks amazing! Get that thing on the car ASAP!

Haha, thanks! Ill be putting it on the car asap. I need my manifold first. :thumb:

Do jusmx or greengsx mind revealing how much the rebuild costed? The service looks very impressive and I may talk to him for the same in the future. Thank you.

Im sure Justin will chime in here with the pricing and such. He will be rebuilding all of my turbos that need to be rebuilt.

I hope he stays in the turbo game for a while.
