Got my PTE BB 50 tirm, do i need to send it back?

Got the turbo from dejonpowerhouse.com and they is like a small nick in it,i put a pin in it and it barely goes in, will this harm anything?
The last 3 pic look worse then it really is.

agreed. I'd send that housing back and get a new one. WTF
 
In the last picture is that 3 separate cracks on the housing???? If so then the sucker back.

No it is not cracks, i dont know what it is though, when i touch it its hard though
 
I know them as "casting veins". My 5031 came with 3 large veins and they really shouldn't be of any concern. I definitely wouldn't be worried about that small nick, but I would recommend at least writing an e-mail to dejon to let them know of the problem and see if there is a resolution. At least if the Comp housing starts taking a crap in 6 months, you will be able to have some sort of written backup that you have mentioned it to them already.
 
I just talked to Dave from dejon and he said i would have to deal with PTE, so we'll see how it goes, blcknspooln you ready to install this bad boy, just waiting for the oil lines and wg.

Agreed. My 5031 has the casting flash as well. Doesn't seem right that we pay 1k for a part that they wouldn't take a few minutes to grind down to make it look more presentable; but I really don't notice it when its installed.
