I have PTE 5031 BB mitsu housing, and i am looking to upgrade to a t/3, i heard its better, so i looked on extremepsi site but not sure which one i should get. I want the same spool as what i have now. Little more power too.

Looking at this: EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts - Ball Bearing

Precision T & E SC3231R T3/T4 Ball Bearing Turbocharger: 490 HP

Precision T & E SC3431R T3/T4 Ball Bearing Turbocharger: 545 HP

Precision T & E SC4431R T3/T4 Ball Bearing Turbocharger: 565 HP

Precision T & E SC4476R T3/T4 Ball Bearing Turbocharger: 585 HP

Only thing thats going to be different thats not in my profile is i will have performance rods and pistons

thanks

Wont it still have the mitsu where the exhaust manifolds goes too? Where do i get it from?

You sure there aren't .63 or .82 T3 housings that fit the T31 exhaust wheel of our turbos? That plus a turbonetics or tubular t3 should yield some NICE gains.

edit, call up extreme and ask if they can get these housings, according to PTE's website these house the T31 wheel

200-5032
5031RB
THGT2-31 T3 4 bolt .82 A/R
THGT3-31 T3 4 bolt .63 A/R
THGT8-31 T3 4 bolt .48 A/R

All these will have the same spool time?

thanks

Well i just looked at my turbo and it says air .60, i thought it was only.48 and.63?? So the 200-5032
5031RB what a/f is it and 5 or 4 bolt, what should i get?

.63 turbine housing A/R seems to be the most common on a 50 trim sized wheel, though I'm not sure you see huge gains from this swap. Yes sure, there will be some gains but personally don't know if they would be big enough on a 50 trim sized wheel to justify the cost of a new turbine housing & exhaust mani. Now when you start talking 60+ lb/min compressors, sure you'll see some nice gains swapping to a T3 as the bolt-on style housing will defently be a restriction at these levels. If you want to do the swap & are looking for the most top end power out of the 50 trim wheel then go with the .82 housing. Just be prepaired that there probably will be a descent jump in lag vs your current Mitsu bolt-on housing.

Hmm.. see i wanted to keep my spool the same its around 3700, maybe i should just keep what i have?
