PTE turbos fit without denting the water pipe, they designed it that way.

BTW the 60 trim tends to surge on some setups, just check the compressor map. The 60-1 doesn't surge, plus the 60-1 can be stuffed inside the S housing. Just make sure you don't try to use a small turbine wheel, use at least the stage 3 aka 76 trim.

Thanks for the tip. So far i have not giving up yet on the turbo. I found a shop here local that does turbos and what not and told me they could machine the to4e housing with surge ports to fit on the 57trim. My friend with a tII rx7 has a 61mm compressor wheel in a To4b housing which is small but they machine it to fit and he has no problems whatsoever. Theres also switching to the .83ar housing as well so am exploring those options first and if they fall through then i will have to upgrade the turbo.
