OK.....here's the truth and I hope nobody jumps on me for saying it. The IC itself isn't "free-flowing." Let's just put it this way, it's the last IC i would get. Sorry man.
 
it just doesn't get the job done with a properly setup 50trim. It's not even so much that is a tube and fin as much as it's the damn 10ft of piping it has. Our kit and SBR's kit has maybe 3.5' of piping all together and is a true 2.5". the whole down fire thing is really a minor problem.
 
The greddy 24r FMIC deffinetly has too much piping. I would suggest something with short route piping, not nessecarily the SBR or TSF, but short route def is better.

As far as the BB 50trim fitting up with the greddy piping, simple fix like the rest of the guys said. 90* Elbow welded on, or a sislicone 90* elbow with 2 T-bolt clamps.
