I finally got my PTE 5031RE on and when I took the car out for a drive it would go straight to 20 psi and hold. I have the boost controller hooked up properly and turned to 1 bar. It is internally gated and unported. I had to clock the turbo to get it to clear the water pipe and it angled the actuator a bit. I was wondering if this could be causing my increased boost level. (This isn't creep, as it never even tries to stop at 1 bar and it isn't spike, as it never comes down to 1 bar).

Thanks

Remove the linkage from the actuator and apply regulated air pressure to it. That will tell the lowest psi the actuator will open at. If it is opening before 20 psi then I would say the linkage is binding to much. You could also do this with the leakage hooked up to make sure your boost controller is working correctly.

I just got off f the phone with PTE and they told me the actuator can be adjusted from 14.5-20 psi and that I just need to adjust the actuator to turn it down. Does anyone know which way to spin it to reduce the psi?

**EDIT**Found it. Lengthen to lower boost, shorten to increase boost.

Thanks everyone
