So last night i was moving my car from a long sitting. I took out the ECU in case someone tried to steal my car.

So my friend gets in and since the car has been siting for a while he's like the starter is out. So he tries to pop start it. Not realizing the ECU was out. i was setting up the trailer. Him and another friend are pushing the car trying to start the car.

It wasn't starting until i told them dude the ECU is not in thats why its not starting. but when i start walking back to my car to put the ecu in there was some sort spinning noise coming from back of the motor by the starter.

we get the car started and after a few minutes it starts to smoke. and the noise is getting worse. THe only way to stop the noise was take of the negative battery cable.

ANywho my buddy gets in the to drive it up the trailer and we hear 2 load pops. backfire, and the car shuts off. pop open the hood. white smoke behind the engine where the starter is.

SMELLS horrible. There is no oil leaking. no holes that i can see.

Can some give me any views or ideas what it could be. I have not taken it apart yet.
