Hey guys, I've searched over the last few years on my projected set-up.
For starters, I want a stock appearance car, that's my mindset behind all this. I have a Dejon tool smic with a small 16g. Realistically I only want to run about 18 psi. I not searching for as much power as I can get from this. I'm just curious if you guys think it's reasonable. I have 850cc injectors, a little bigger then I need but I already have them. No real hp goal, just wanted your guys input if anything seems unrealistic with this set up. Been reading so many mixed reviews.

Fuel pump, an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, engine/tuning management (i.e. ECMLink), a boost gauge, and boost controller should be in that list if you're running 18psi and upgraded injectors. Also consider adding a wideband and any other monitoring you would like such as fuel pressure and oil pressure. I know aftermarket gauges take away from the stock appearance, but you can get creative and put them in inconspicuous locations.

Above all, make sure your maintenance is good and no known issues before changing things up. I like to add one mod at a time (where possible) to eliminate potential issues with said mod.

I would heatsoak the absolute shit out of the stock 1G sidemount on a 14B after a couple passes, to the point of the car bogging down on acceleration.

With that said, the Dejon SMIC is a beefy boi. Just let it cool down for a good, decent amount of time in between passes. Or go E85 or water/meth injection.

There won't be any passes. It won't be races, at most I will do a little pull getting onto the freeway getting up to speed. I dont race or anything crazy.

Should be fine then. Send it.
