What is the max effeciency of a small 16g turbo? I have a fuel pump upgrade and I want to know how much boost is safe?

with a fuel pump (190 or 255) you can get away with 16 PSI. You can go as high as 22PSI before the turbo just "blows hot air"

dont go any higher then 16 on stock sidemount. i was htting fuel cut with my small 16g at 15 psi on stock injectors and ic. with a walbro 255

you can boost as high as you want as long as you dont knock, timing is good, and your/re not maxin out your injectors. small 16g wont heatsoak the stock intercooler as bad as you think.

oh yeah, if you have a small 16g already, then whatever, but if you are planning on buying a small 16g, dont. Big waste of money, IMO. At least get an evo16g to make some kind of power over stock.
