I put down 397whp on my stock 6 bolt on a dynojet, only made like 350ish on a dynapack, the tuner told me his dynapack was low reading.
This was on 22psi and 94 octane.
On a small 16g?

well if he's tuned for that much more boost...if he has slicks, and he's an ok driver...he'll put down a nice time...dont just write that off
put it like this - my FIRST RUN, ever, at the track, in my life, with all my upgrades (but the boost was turned down to 15 lbs) got me a 15 flat. before the car blew up that night, i was literally a tenth of a second from 13s...and at the time i only had a 14b on the car.
if you get the car put together right, and good tuning...you'll be in the 13s, maybe 12s...maybe not the first pass if you arent used to the car yet, but that dsm will be GONE down the strip...if you have the funds and you ask me...i say
intake
turboback(including o2 housing)
injectors
frontmount with pipes
14b/16g series turbo
clutch
possibly an exhaust manifold if it's in your budget
and good tuning...wether u decide on link and u know how to tune or use the dsmchip with an eprom or are magical with an AFC
good luck

I hope everything works out...I'd like to see 300fwhp i'd be more than happy with that
thats my goal for once i get my car running good again. when i can upgrade stuff instead of fixing it. but yea blow that little escort or whatever it is away
beat it like this
thats kinda high for a small 16g but i want to know what else was done to the car if he layed down that much with a small 16g
Don't write that off. A stock intake manifold and just 264s can push the limits of a small 16g which is over 38lbs/min on the compressor map. And of course, a good header, smim, decent tune, and you're bsfc number goes way down. You are no longer looking at only, what, 10.5 hp per lb/min. It's definately possible without nitrous.
DeadlyEclipse95, your current partslist is just fine for your goal. I've run 13.5 at 101 with all stock fuel, stock 14b, stock intercooler/piping, and stock long block in this fwd. Nothing but wider street rubber, 15psi, hacked 1g maf, and a fresh stock rebuilt head. So your setup is plenty to dip into the 12s. About 260ish whp can put you in the 12s with a trap speed of about 105-106mph.
But you'll need more injector later to max out that turbo.
I'm really curious to see how well a vpc tunes this whole setup in...I hardly ever see anyone use these anymore....I'm not to worried about that escort...He has a hell of an artillery coming after him
. But hopefully the tuning goes good and everything works outI'd love to introduce him to my buddy's 2G TSi AWD. 136k on the STOCK 7-bolt motor (supposed to be junk) running 18-22psi; it's run consistent 12's for the past 4 years (ever since he bought it with 101k).
Let's see an Escort do that.
Or for him to meet me with my 50 trimmed 17 psi everyday 182,000 mile stock 7 bolt. Okay, it does run hot but you get my drift.
