ok guys. i just got a new talon. its a 1990 with a 4bolt rear put in. has an hks turbo setup on it, fmic, injectors, ect ect...you get the drift. well i was told the car has a 6 puck and a TRE built trans in it....anyways here's the bad. well i try to launch it, and it really doesnt go anywhere, but the rmps sky rocket and the car shakes. (leading me to believe that this 6 puck is garbage.) however when i floor it in 2nd gear the car really moves, but when i shift into 3rd, or just hit full boost in 3rd, the rpms jump, the car doesnt go far and shakes real bad. but only in 3rd. every other gear is ok other than some minimal constant shaking. so now im all confused, and am looking for some help diagnosing the problem. ive had people tell me its the clutch, 3rd gear is bad, or an axel is shot? normal driving is fine tho... so....if any one has an idea please let me know...
