What are the symptons of a slipping clutch??I see guys talk about how they felt their clutch slipping but how do u know...When I used to drive on the highway I would get on at about 80-120 and my rpms would shoot up like I was in neutral, yet I stayed between 13-15 lbs..I tires are kinda old but still have good thread...I think the tires are 205/35/17(??)

So is this loss of traction or a slipping clutch?

Yea that is what I was thinking...Is the clutch slipping because of too much power?
From what I have read stock clutches will only handle up to 250 hp.
Does that mean Im making 250 hp or more ? :D :D :D

Not necessarily, mine went out with 100,000 miles and it was completely stock at the time. I would get your clutch and flywheel replaced. Go with ACT, they've got some good deals on them from some of the sponsored sites.

well you dont NEED the flywheel replaced unless you have money to spare. if youre having a shop do the work you might want to throw in a lightened flywheel from ACT or something since its gonna be apart anyway but definately look into an aftermarket clutch that will hold more power. your clutch is probably just slipping cause its beat and its old, but in the future if u want to go faster get a heavier clutch
