97 eclipse gsx mods include k an n filter dejon upper inner cooler prpping type s bov and cat back exhaust nothing major yet. I did just replace the stock t25 with another t25 and my question is the turbo holds boost fine but when I get on the gas peddal my rpms shoot up. Like 1500 or so just a high rev with little pull then it like "catches" and pulls hard. Would this be my clutch starting to slip or could I have missed something on the re install and have a boost leak . I'm still new to the dsm world but love it to death so far. Any help here is much appreciated... if it helps I believe its still stock clutch from factory and car has 187,xxx miles on it LOL. Thanks for any help.

Is it worse in higher gears? It does kinda sound like a slipping clutch though.

for sure clutch. id recommend staying away from puck style clutches if you daily drive though everyone i know with puck clutches wishes they had went with a disc if they daily drive.

Clutch, it will slip when boost hits because there is more torque at 3k rpm than 6k.

My car is doing the exact same thing right now so I'm assuming its the clutch as well.... What do you guys think about this?
ACT 2100 HD CLUTCH KIT ECLIPSE TALON DSM MB1-HDSS | eBay
My car is mainly stock with just a turboback exhaust, and intake. Planning to upgrade to a 16g maybe in 2013-ish. But for now a DD for school, maybe a fun run with other cars on the road etc only. I've read a few threads but just want + or - about this specific kit(since alot of people have it). Or other clutch kits on ebay I should be buying instead? Thanks in advance!

** $400.00 is my absolute top considering it's already past my budget :(

How does it feel compare to oem? It's a hard decision on me because I'm back to dsm now and never had to change clutch or really have much knowledge of them other than just "back in the teen days with a turbo car racing non turbo hondas" LOL. A lot of threads are saying that since I'm changing it, minus well get the ACT clutch etc. I agree but lost and confused at the same time. Thanks for the help, great price too!

I would say it feels about the same if not a little bit stronger? Stronger is a bad word choice but i really dont know how else to describe it. I guess, I have no complaints. I mean for the price its held up good with about 5000ish miles on it now.
