i changed my belt and everything else, and had it tensioned right, now tonight i finally grew the balls to start it up, and when it is at idle, it makes no sound, but when i tap the throttle and it jumps to 1700 rpm, there is a whine from the timing belt area, and it stops when it gets to 1200 or so.. i dont know if things are just getting broken in, or if something isnt right.. maybe a timing belt cover is rubbing on the belt or something? it isnt a squeak, more of a whine i guess... kinda hard to explain.

i fixed it, i tightened the power steering and alternator drive belts, and that seemed to get rid of the noise, either the pulleys and belt got worn in, or that fixed it, just wanted to give everyone an update.
