Single color talon?

I am going to be doing a paint job on my talon soon and I am contemplating painting the roof the same color as the rest of the car (red). I just wanted to get your opinions and maybe some pics of single color talons. I am going to be keeping the 2GB talon bumper, so if someone could post a pic of a similar car it would be greatly appreciated.

and yes I have searched, and I could only find 1gs

My brother did this years ago and it just reminded me of an eclipse. I wouldn't do it. Black top is what makes the talon stand out.

I painted my talon the same color as my spyder years ago Cayenne Red Pearl
before I restored it. the white 1ga talon in the back ground was also my car then till my buddy bought it from me

I do miss the car now that I sold it as a roller a few years ago. since it was a full restore I did on it

on a 1g, it isnt so bad being all 1 solid color....but on a 2g, i dont like it at all...Keep it block top.

Something i do like, that sets it off a little, is color matching the mirrors on talons.

I prefer the black top over body matched. It's like saying I'm formal and classy but I'm also here to party.

Like my 1G Laser: Has the black top, but the 'pillar' band is the car's color-this was a color scheme that Plymouth used on their RS and RS Turbo models.

The 1G base 3G37 body color scheme was all one color.

The black topped design was to emphasize the 1G, GS, GS-T and the GS-X, 4G63 lines for the Eclipse and the1G, ES ESi and ESi-AWD Talons.

It was a bit of a copy of some Camaros and Firebirds since these vehicles also had a black top option for their high end muscle vehicles.

i like the single color but i feel like the black top is a talon trademark almost. it's all preference, do what you like.

I bought my car repainted single color in the stock tan although it kind of makes the car unique in a way as a Talon, I would prefer to go back to the black top look only the tan and black talon with the black wrap around wing doesn't look so appealing on the 1G at least to me.. on the 2G.... go full stock black top.

I love the black on the talons, I should have kept my 95 TSi instead of the 99 GSX, to me the talon looks more of a mans car !

OP: Single color will look great, so will two tone, so long as it's done properly, and with care. It really comes down to preference.
