Hey all!
I recently bought a 2g spyder for 500 (bad transmission), and currently fixing to run. On the process I am buying somethings for her, just got a transmission for a 4G63T (5 speed), and hope to put a 63 head with turbo using the 64 long block. So stay tuned for those questions to come from me soon, heh.
Currently I wanted to drop in some side exit exhausts, but I was wondering if there really is a Horsepower/ Torque advantage on it over the Rear exit exhausts, and it's pros and cons.
Also has any of you done this? If so tips and suggestions on brands would be great.

with a turbo car exhaust is hugely important! the importance is on the size and flow because you want the least amount of backpressure. as for the side exit vs. rear it won't matter how its routed. the most important thing is to have a big enough pipe and tip to be free flowing. honestly if you not gonna make it an all out racecar then any cat-back would be good and easy. if you want something different or wanna save money buy the pipes and fab a side exit exhaust. GL and i look forward to seeing it if you do.
