about a week ago i started to have a shudder in my right wheel while my clutch is engaging. All the research I've done makes me think it might be clutch chatter but i just put a new clutch ( act 2100 with street disc) and an act streetlite flywheel in less than 5000 miles ago. Just wanted to get some other opinions before i tear everything apart again.

Okay is it normal for it to be pretty violent, because the entire car shakes when im just trying to start from a red light.

Clutch chatter it sounds like.

I've never used an ACT 2100 but on higher horsepower clutches they can chatter a bit, it might also be from a motor mount loosening up or being torn though and multiplying the chatter.

I have a ACT 2100 and I've had no shudder from it at all. Takes off as smooth as my OEM clutch did. Check motor mounts, axels, and suspension, you might have something going on.

Its normal clutch chatter. Ive never seen a performance clutch that didnt do it. My DD turbo honda does it occasionally, and when it does, its hard enough to shake the mirror out of position. Depending on the mounts, and axles you have...It could be mild or wild.

NO! My ACT 2100 in my 1g has never done this and my South Bend ss series in my 2g has never done it either nor have I EVER hear ANYWHERE that this is "normal" for every aftermarket clutch. The only one that Ive experienced anything like you are describing was with an ebay XTD cluch and the splines stripped out in the disc in 500 miles.

Now, I have heard that unsprung discs will do this sometimes. But not normal for sprung street discs. Check your roll motor mounts and front suspension for anything that may be loose.

Check all the bolts that connect the transmission to the motor, if they loosen off you can get a pretty violent shake.

I ran a ACT 2100, and ACT 2600in my 1990 Talon Tsi AWD, and never had a chatter issue. The 2600 had a slight rpm change with clutch disengaged but the 2100 was about OEM. My current Clutch Masters FX200 does chatter considerably more but overall believe it is a better clutch.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, i will check and make sure everything is tight tonight
