Should this tensioner arm be replaced?

Is this bad? Someone said something about these causing problems if they're indented like so.

The Adjuster rod has "poked" that dimple in the arm which will cause incorrect readings when setting the gap for the autoaduster.

Being a cheapskate, when mine looked like that, I just filed it smooth again. And, as above, the dimple throws off your adjuster setting.

... which throws off the prospective some since the adjuster and the tension pulley aren't in their right prespectives- you made the distance longer by filing that down.

If you're going to reuse it you should weld up the dimple and then grind it flat, even with the original surface. Make sure to check and grease the pivot point for wear where the tensioner arm mounts to the front engine mount.

I change everything in my timing are , i chose to be cheap and paid for it in the end not doing it right
in the first place, i learned when in doubt change it.
