I was just wondering what you guys thought. I have 17" rims so my car is higher off the ground than stock ones. My boyfriend thinks I should lower it one inch but should I if I might possibly get a body kit later???

It all depends on what kit your going to get. 17's look good but you should definitly lower it but do it the right way and you won't have to worry about bottoming out. 98s are really sexy you should keep it stock and lower it with your 17s.

A 2gb eclipse with a good looking set of 17s and lowered a little bit, looks really good. Don't lower it too much and don't get some huge, ugly looking body kit that isn't painted. I think that on the other hand looks horrible on DSM. This is what a set of Eibach's will do to your 2g.

I think they look good. They aren't too low, but still giving it an aggressive stance without loosing driveability.

Get The Body Kit First And The You Will Know How Much You Need To Lower It. Some Springs Lower More Then Others. You Don't Want To Lower It And Then Put A Body Kit On And Have The Kit Scraping On The Floor And Breaking. I Lowered My Car And Have To Get New Springs To Raise It Back Up Because Of The Body Kit. Get 18' To Fill In The Gap If You Feel That The Car Is Still A Bit Hi After The Kit And Springs Are On.don't Forget To Bend In The Lip On Hte Rear Inner Fender So It Won't Cut Your Tires. Just Make 4 Slits And Bang It In With A Hammer. It's Soft So It Will Bend Pretty Easy. Let Me Know If You Need More Help. I'm Close By.

measure how high you're bumper is off the ground...stock is 4" right? i think you're sitting at 5.5 to 6" so you should at least lower it to stock, it'd be hot :thumb:
