theres a seconday gasket piece that goes there, like from the bellhousing gasket, except it bolts on to the bottom of the blocka nd the bellhousing

You can usaully see the top of the fly wheel.

ok cool. then i should find and install this piece before tuening her over or would it be cool to run it like htis?

There's a small aluminum piece that fits over that gap. I can post a picture of it tomorrow if you need to see what it looks like. It's probably not that great of an idea to drive around like that because who knows what might get in there. Also, it looks like you're missing a bolt on your oil pan.

yeah im missing that too...i have to be real careful not to drive on gravel or anything...if you can find one, put it on

I had the same problem. $6 for the part at dodge (said I had a laser). I believe it is caled a "lower bell housing cover," this is what thier compuer called it. And no, one off of an NT wouldn't work, if they even have anything similar.

If you're good with your hands you could make one out of some sheet metal. Just get a piece, trace the outline, cut it, drill holes for the bolts, and Bob's your uncle, a cover for your flywheel.
