Shop Question - I GIVE UP!!!!

Ok, I give in. I can't get this car figured out. I have tried and tried and asked a million questions on forum boards and nothing.

So....I am going to take it in. My question is, Is the dealer the best way to go? Or should I go to a local shop?

Since your are the fortunate owner of a DSM (Daily Service & Maintenance), you should probably get used to doing the work yourself. If you intend on keeping the car for any amount of time, you should look forward to putting a great deal of work into the car. If not I would advise selling it!

EclipseTrbo420A, I appreciate the interest, but its just one of those things that nobody can really pinpoint and it could be a million things. I have already dumped money into parts that I thought would fix it, and they didn't. I think its electrical.

I know working on your own car is great. I agree. Parts aren't a problem for me. Electrical is another story. I just don't have the resources, experience, or tools, to measure, understand, and determine how my electrical system and relays are working. So, that is why I give in.

Call around for an electrical shop that does everything. Theres a place here called A-1 electric these guys are GREAT and they do everything rom wiring to building trannys. Look for something like that. Try to get local recommendations.
