Would look up info but of course can’t find any. So no companies make any normals shocks for the 2g? All I find are coilovers I just want normal shocks that’s it. Any recommendations or?

I see STM has KYB AGX (adjustable) and GR-2 (stock replacements) - JNZ has AGX too. Neither will last very long on a lowered car, but they'll work for a little while. ExtremePSI shows they have Konis - might want to confirm they have them in stock. Konis will last longer on a lowered car.

Are kybs any good? My car has them currently but they are from the previous owner and I’m not sure how long they’ve been on there. I could order the normal gr-2s but I can’t find the springs I’m looking for a whole assembly preferably, my car is basically stock I don’t need anything fancy

I had no problem with gr2. You likely won't find an assembly on a car this old. Gotta do it yourself.

I've used all three. GR-2's are essentially economy stock replacements. AGX's are stiffer, as they are marketed as a "performance" shock, but again, they don't like lowering springs and aren't designed to last long. If you want something that is designed to be used with a lowering spring, Koni is the only option that will give you decent life and actual good handling.

Is there something wrong with your current springs?
I’m not sure is the thing I’ve had the car sitting for quite a while now cause life’s just been getting in the way but I’m slowly trying to get it back up and running I am not the original owner and I’m not sure what the old owner did if he ever replaced them or what but I’m wanting to just replace everything that way I know what’s been done and what hasn’t because this car has been kind of a mess as all Dsms tend to be

Well, is it stock ride height or not? If it sits normally I would say leave it alone.
