Front hood shocks for 1G

Does anyone know where can i buy Shocks for front hood for my 1G?
I search, and only i can find for 2gen.

How can i measure old ones when i got none. I got stock front hood.

I try ebay and no results.

I tried to find a plug and play shcks for 1G front hood. But it seems that I have to go to the option of shocks from other cars.

I found this set for Evo 1,2,3 on ebay. In specification says that they are 63 cm lenght. I was today measuring place where it supose to install. It is exatcly same distance betwen hood and bolt on engine side.
Ofcourse, i will post pictures when i found shocks and install them.

Well instead of starting a new thread Ill post what I found here and answer this question. I found a place to buy hood shocks made for a 1g for 80 shipped. They can be found on b2autodesigns.com Ive been looking for a set myself and know others have been aswell. They also make them for 2gs and evos. Hope this helps everyone who wants a set for their 1g

Thats weird because I typed hood shocks in on ebay last night and all I saw was for 2gs. Owell least theres a couple different options. Still going to eventually get the b2autodesigns ones. I trust those shocks will last longer then ebay ones.

Had to type in "1993 Mitsubishi hood dampers" for this to come up (and only after reading another thread where that is what's mentioned). You can get a cheap kit, use it for a while, and if you decide that you like it you can always upgrade, but the ball-end bolts will already be in place and you will know exactly what size struts/dampers you will need. Do write a review of the kit if/when you get it.

I have the site from watching Toms Turbo Garage on youtube and he bought a set for his galant vr4. From watching his video the kit looks good and just bolts right in. No drilling required.

Thanks guys. I do offer them for the 1G and 2G kits. The ones on ebay where copied from my kit, but they don't come with new bolts for the hood. I supply with new bolts. Message me if you have any questions. Thanks Charles
