So I am going to have to replace my shocks soon. By soon, I mean like a year ago. So, on a budget, what do you recommend? I figure replacing shocks, better time than any to lower it. So will new stock shocks work with lowering springs? The cheaper I can get it done, the better. Opinions?

It really all depends what are your goals?? If yur just looking to get something on there and lower while staying on a budget it go with the Eibach Sportline springs and get KYB struts and shocks.. Wont ride or handle super great but itll work...
Ive got KYB struts and shocks with tuned by matrix lowering springs and the car rides a little stiff but thats cause ive got everything stiffened up.. But car handles amazing and i launch all day and don't get bad weight transfer too the rear end. The springs were pretty expensive but it was worth it.. I love coilovers LOL..

The Tokico HP lowering kit is one of the best bang for the buck solutions to lowering. Usually you can get the kit which includes shocks and lowering springs for around $375 shipped. It will be about a 1.75" drop and close up that wheel gap for a really nice stance.

Thanks for the quick replies. I've had this clunking sound coming from my drivers side front for about a year everytime I hit any bumps. It sounds horrible. Tie rod ends were replaced already. Really I need to replace every piece of rubber in the front suspension... and motor mounts.

A lot of people seem to like the tokico's, I just bought Tokico Illuminas all the way around, but only installed the front last weekend so cant really give them a review for you, but they are a good price. Extremepsi.com had amazing deals on them

dont use stock shocks with lowering springs they go out a lot faster. If your wanting to save money look on here in the classifeids
