Shifting to Neutral causing car to shut off

I'm having this idel issue with my car, I just had the engine rebuilt and it runs like a great. It's only when I come to a stop, I let off the throttle, put the car in neutral, when the car's RPMs will drop fast and car dies..

when I start the car, its idels good, and when im shifting from gear to gear it shifts okay... its only when going from gear to neutral.

I'm thinking maybe that I dont have enough air restriction? since everything I ported or larger then stock?

Nope, took the chance to make a junkyard run for a bunch of misc. parts I need, then couldn't find my bike pump til it was dark (I'm working in a carport right now ) So I'm definitely doing it first thing in the morning.. I'm hoping it's just a loose/cracked vac hose, I need an easy fix haha.

Do yourself a favor and forget that bike pump. You're going to want to source a compressor or at the very least a portable air tank. A bike pump cannot output the volume of air needed for a BLT, you'll pump forever and just tire your arms out.

Well I don't have access to a compressor or tank now, so I have to make the best of what I've got.. I've heard of people using bike pumps before so hopefully it works

Forgot to post up results of the BLT Found a tiny leak at the boost gauge tap, and every seal on my throttle body is completely BLOWN Parts are on the way so hopefully I'll have that rebuilt in a week or so.. Cross your fingers for me

I used to have the same problem, But my problem was solved with a new ICS.

Yeah I'll be doing the _full_ test on mine while it's off for the TB rebuild.. I almost hope it's bad, might mean no more boost leaks haha.

Should always boost leak test your car to at least 20 psi. Room for stock cars to boost spike & etc.

I would check your timing. This can definitively cause a car to stall out when no load is on motor.
