Shifting early and at low speeds

I've been having this issue with this car since I bought it. I never remember this issue with my first auto talon. The transmission wants to just run through the gears as fast as it can. As soon as I begin moving it will start shifting and it will end up in 4th gear @ 25 mph if I let it. It also wants to start out in 3rd gear at times. Besides this the tranny runs great and shifts firm, but it forces me to manually choose gears unless I want to be completely bogged down by being in too tall of a gear.

Start with checking your TPS.

TPS is dead on at 13.33%, I check it regularly. I did wonder if there wasn't some sort of speed sensor malfunction though.

does it go up to 100% @ WOT too? That's the important part.

Does it shift between 6500 and 7000 at wot?

Sorry for the late reply, had to get my evoscan laptop from my shop and I've been busy with school. Anyways, TPS does max at 100% at WOT.

Yes it will shift in between 6500 - 7000, but I can send it to the rev limiter if I want to.

I wonder if the TCU is reading shaft speed...
