I noticed that i can move the shifter pretty significantly when in gear, with some force, its not as easy as in neutral but still there. I have the B&M Short Shifter, underhood, and base bushings installed. Is there anything i can do with the shifter to tighten it up a bit? new spring or anything?

I have the same issue with mine as well, I still have the stock shifter in though. I was thinking it was maybe the bushings but im not positive. I need to fix it because it is annoying, but im leaning towards the bushings.

Mine is the same way, I think mine are just old stretched shifter cables.

i had the short shifter to but i put the stock one back in because it shifts smother and i also have the trany and base metal bushing...

for those who have that problem make sure you have a pressure washer on the shifter it self and check the lines front and back to make sure they are secured correctly ... i know in some cars you can adjust the cables but im not sure if thats the case with dsms.
