winterpeg,
First time removing the transmission and me being the idiot I am removed the bellhousing to transmission bolts instead of the bellhousing to engine bolts.. I seperated the two about 1/2 an inch before I realized what I had done. I pushed everything back together and bolted it back up.

Is everything going to be ok or am I screwed?

I mean everything inside is bolted up pretty good? If something was out of place inside would I not be able to put the two back together?

make sure you used a rtv when rebolting your bell housing together and check your shifting first, you may of moved the shift rails out of the selector on the bell housing, and for the gearing on the inside they should be fine, just check your shift points

I did try to clean up the the two surfaces and used RTV when I resealed it. How exactly can I check the shift points? I moved the selector through what I think is all the gears and it doesn't jam, and appears to be going into all gears..
