Hello, just am wanting a second look because nothing is glaringly obvious to me but I also don’t know what to look for but does anything stand out as being wrong with this board? I currently only have park and neutral with my 2G and am just looking at everything even tho I’m betting it’s the T/C . Any input would be helpful.

Thanks!

You should have 3rd gear too. Park and neutral are the same, and 3rd gear is forward motion with all shift solenoids turned off. It is why limp mode utilizes 3rd gear.

It is possible that the transmission itself has an internal problem rather than just a TCU problem.

Check your shift cable alignment and readjust if necessary.

Yeah I thought that too, I’m guessing either my torque converter or something internal but just wasn’t 100%

Yeah if it’s not going into any kind of gear you’ve got a mechanical issue. If you made a pull and shut it down could be anything from Valvebody to major damage. Drain the fluid and see how it looks. Pull the pan and check the magnets.

Look at C118. It is probably flash glare from the picture but at least look at the board on the TCU in that area for anything abnormal. The guys are right though, if you don't have reverse or 3rd, you have an internal issue with the main shaft or its components that drive it.

That's not out of nowhere, you did a pull and then the car shut down, I'm going with the pull damaged it.

It can be a slew internal trans parts starting with the pump, no fluid flow, no motion.

But do all the small things, check the fluid, check the TCU like you are, eventually drop the pan etc.

I am just guessing that it is the torque converter not turning the mainshaft since it has no reverse or drive, which defaults when the power goes out, as @DogWhistle pointed out in his post. A sudden shut down during a pull "could have" tore the stator up or even worse, broke the snout off the front of the mainshaft.
