So with a wedge bracket, how high do they sit? Can you make them work with the stock bracket? Got any pics? Your the only person I know of that has them in their 2g.
How comfortable are they for daily driving?

Using the bracket and included rails, the seating position was about the same as my power leather seats at the lowest height setting. Without the rail, maybe an inch lower than stock. You can't make them work with the stock bracket, but you could try to make your own bracket or have one fabbed up. I like em for daily driving, especially with the harness. After about a week you're already used to the 4 point and even though I have my stock belt hooked up, I never use it. The stock belt just feels weird after having a harness IMO. The lower section of the back on the seat is considerably tighter fitting than stock, it hold you pretty well. They're not as nice as a Sparco or Recaro, but good for the price, especially in my case since I got seats and brackets for cheap. They look a little pink in the pics below, but theyre a nice red color in real life.

eclipsegsx1736 great idea bro. I think Im going to steal that idea, and custom drill holes to fit my leg height perfectly. seeing yours with the 4 points makes me ancious (sp?) to get a pair of all black Megan Racing seats, with Takata 4 points.

Dustin

So you can make it work with the bracket and rails that came with the seat is what your saying? I like how the stock leather seats sit and would not want to go any higher. Also, where is the tilt lever? I was going to order a 2nd one but I didn't know if there was a difference between left and right side.
I got my one for $241 shipped. I'm hoping to get the other at the same price.

You need the wedge brackets, and you can use them on either side, no difference, well except the knob thingy on the side, but just tell them which side, and it will be fine.

the knob thingy for the bracket you mean not the seat.
where is the adjusment for the tilt on the seat?

The adjustment is on both sides, so the it will work for either side of the car. You will need the wedge brackets no matter what.

Well FINALLY!!, My seats and wedge brackets arrived. I do have to say that with the wedge brackets the seats sit a LOT higher than stock. I can't see my blind spots at all. I have to have the pass side seat reclinded a lot so that I can see my blind spot. This is about the only downfall to the seats/brackets. I will post pics up soon

Hm, weird. Mine sat about the same height as stock or very slightly lower. With stock seats, I couldn't fit in the car with a helmet on, and it was still difficult after the Megan seats. I then removed the silder and bolted the seat directly to the bracket, and I was able to fit with a helmet as this lowered it at least another 1".

Yeah, Wedge brackets. I didn't know what you wanted pics of, the car's not here right now.

The only thing that bugs me now, is that when you close the door, it's sooo close to hitting the seat. Almost looks as if it does. Also, when you fold the back of the seat foward it hits the headliner. That's how tall mine are. I'll get some pics later.

Hey guys,

I just bought these Tenzo R Rally Type seats for my Talon because they were an awesome deal. The thing is, I'm in Alaska, and they didn't come with brackets or sliders. The Tenzo customer service is non-exisitant, so I figuerd I'd ask here.

Do I need both the brackets and sliders? I'm going to assume I bolt the seat to the bracket and then the bracket to the sliders. Right?

Where the hell do I buy these friggin brackets?! I'm getting annoyed because nobody reputable is sellign them.

They're not too bad. I have a black Talon and the gray matchse the interior pretty close, so it's not ricey IMO.

*Bah*

I found the brackets and sliders. They're quite expensive. Anyone know where I can get them used by chance?

Why not just make some brackets yourself. And Sliders who needs em, get the seat where you like and bolt it to the floor. Just a thought.

I got them used from a buddy...

I got the pair at 100. Just jump on a good deal when you can. They'er in really really really good condition, just no sliders and brackets. You can buy them online from venders. There might be a Tenzo R vendor near you though.

Typically, they're like... 250 each though. Can't beat a pair for 100 bux!

I got the same seats. I had to make my own brackets. I took my stock sliders and then mounted them on some steel tubing. It is complicated to explain, sorry.

Just use your brain, and you come up with something.

Anthony

I made brackets for my racing seats took about 5 hours a bracket start to finish first time. Spend the money on a welder and then, I think it was 3/8 bar steel from home depot.

I'm not tooo good at custom fab. or anything to do w/building my own parts. I usually tend to mess stuff up, and something about premade just seems... Easier!

Howie~

P.S. thanks for the input. I appreciate it!

On the Corbeau website, they have a listing for a bracket for the 1g eclipse, does this same seat bracket work for a 1g talon? Thanks David

If it will work for an Eclipse, it will work for a Talon. The two vehicles differ only in trim and cladding.
