I cut the brackets off of the slider and welded them to the frame of the seat.

So you can't adjust the seat movment then? You should of called wedge and see if they could of custom made a bracket.

I want to know which seat/rail combo will do this. I really love driving my Eclipse, but at 6'3 it's not very comfortable for me, sitting hunched over. If I can't find a lower seat I will probably end up selling her...

I've never owned, sat in, or even seen anything that sat as low as the stock seat configuration.

I miss my OE black leather seat alot.....

Nope. I've had three different kinds of racing seats, and they all sat significantly higher that the OE seats.

But I'm 6'2" and I no problems. I just have to angle the seat back a little and not sit completely upright.

I do have to say that with the wedge brackets the seats sit a LOT higher than stock. I can't see my blind spots at all.

I think Gamble is referring to how high the backs are and not necessarily how high they sit.

I'm thinking of getting these seats as well (a set). I've been shopping around and found each seat priced at $200 from Underground. It sounds like you have to get the wedge brackets... is the $99 price tag for each bracket or for a set of 2??? So... for roughly $500 I should be able to sit my arse in some Megan's as opposed to the crappy no-name death traps that came with the car?

99 EACH for the brackets. The seats SIT prety high actually. I decided to not use a slider and bolted the seat to the bracket and its maybe an inch lower than stock as I said above. I'm geting some real seats soon. These seats fit and hold you nice but the cloth material isn't that great. Going with some Brides and Takata harnesses soon.

I called Tyler at Underground Motorsports yesterday and he didn't even realize that our cars require a special bracket. Because of this he said that if i was to order a set of two that he'd throw in the Wedge brackets for roughly $60 (FOR THE PAIR!! ). Along with shipping, seats, and brackets... he quoted me $575.

Anything is possible remember that...........now as will they drop right in and bolt up more then likely not since they changed EVERYTHING except the name...how ever brackets are always an option or switching out the seat rails from your seats to the new ones..or drilling new holes and mounting them as well

Probably not because the price of them would not be worth it to. REally if you want to put them in your on your own. Anything can be done with money and custom work.

wedgeengineering.com can make brackets for almost any car+seat combination. Megan racing recommends them for gettin brackets for our cars if using their seats.
