you must think outside the box grasshopper. you have to make adaptors so you can use your stock rails. call IVM. jay can help you there.

yep, i used the universal sliders, and make custom brackets. cost about $25 bucks or less. worked fine for me.

ok sounds good...

sry i kinda wrote the first post wrong...

he has the sliders but he used them for his integra brackets, but i dont think sliders change for a specific type of car....corbeau sliders are universal for corbeau seats, right?? so i could use the corbeau sliders on a custom bracket?

as far as i know.. YES

For Christmas I'm getting a new sparco seat from my girlfriend. She's buying the seat but I told her I would buy the brackets. Now I've found some brackets but they are all Sliding brackets that come in a 3 piece set which you have to buy individually and I don't care for that. Where could I get the bracket which you drill holes in your floor for? I want the seat to be mounted for me and me only, and don't really want the extra weight of the sliders.
Thanks
Turbo Tom. :talon:

Well, I'm not sure where you could find these 1 piece brackets for your seat, but you could definately make them. I made brackets for my seats (wish they were sparco's  ), you can find the write-up here . As long as you don't care what happens to your stock seats this will work great. Just be prepared to go at it with a file a few times, and make sure to measure the width of the new seat bolts to the mounting holes before you go ahead and drill anything. If your seats are too wide to do this, then I'm sure that you could find cheap brackets on e-bay also I don't think you should really be worried about the extra weight of sliding brackets seeing as your new seat is significantly lighter. Good luck.

i think i am getting tenzo rally seats. it does not come with brackets so i i need to get some. i want a bracket with no or minimal modification. do i need a tenzo bracket? where is the best place to get a bracket. i have already searched the classifieds and ebay, and there's nothing. can i mount my stock seat belt assembly to the seat?

Just go on the web and search for Tenzo-R rally, I've seen them all over for $35 each?

You can mount a stock seatbelt holder, you need to find a stock seatbelt, cut it off and drill a hole in it. This can be then bolted onto the metal frame of the seat bracket.

Just to let you know, the tenzo seat brackets will have a lot less feet clearance for the people in the back seat.

just looked on ebay and found no brackets under "tenzo r rally". there are no tenzo brackets on ebay. where else could i look? like i sed i don't really wanna do a whole lotta work to make the seat mount.

Uh yeah, when I said do a search, I meant in google much like the other guy did.

They are the same ones I have and just wrote that little tidbit for you. To make it plain and simple, THEY ARE BOLT ON FOR THE 95-99 ECLIPSE AND TALON.

i just wanna make sure. reason being is after SEARCHING on this website, i found that the tenzo brackets do not directly bolt on, so i wanted to make sure. so ## saying u have these brackets installed on ## 2g now and they were direct bolt on? what seats do u have? thanks for ## alls help.

Hmm, well I've never heard much about them.. but I did get the Tenzo-R rally seats, and I did get the brackets from Tenzo. It has been 4 years, so unless they changed what they're selling.. mine fit perfectly fine.

As I said, got it a LONG time ago, didn't do a thing, bolted fine.

As I said in my first post, you have to get your own method of modifying a stock seatbelt to get it to fit on.

Good luck, it seems really straight forward, I don't think I can offer you any additional information.

I've read the writeup on how to do this in a 1g and was wondering if anyone could tell me if it would be roughly the same to do on a 2g?

I made my own brackets from the stock ones. When you have your new seats ready, you gotta drill out the bracket legs from the stock bracket, since the stock rails and such are useless. Once you break/ drill out the bolts that are holding the legs (legs- the part that bolts go through to attatch to the seat and seat bracket to the floor pan), your stock seats are basically now junk. I make 2 brakets from scratch. They both had to have a 1 inch off-set on 1 side of the bracket for a flush and straight fit with the floor pan. If I didnt have them then the seats would slant to the side. Then I welded the legs to my brackets, which were pre-placed by marking them where they would have to be welded on to fit in the car like stock. My Corbeau A4 seats fit in perfect...Im just waiting to have the brackets powder coated black, since as of now, theyre in the car with raw metal brackets LOL.

If you have any questions, IM me on AIM or PM me:thumb: :dsm:

I will try my best to explain this and I will try to make a blue print tommarrow but basically what I did is used part of the stock brackets, and went to a hardware shop and you can get some of that 1/4inch square metal. That will be used as the brackets to go accross the stock ones. after you have that mad up you just have to drill holes on that 1/4inch metal. This is hard to explain so tommarrow morning I will take some pictures of mine and try to draw it out in photoshop.
