sealed power timing belt kit question

I am rebuilding a motor for a buddy and he got me the sealed power timing belt kit. It came with the belt and 2 idlers but they are both fixed position idlers. There was no eccentric type idler . Is this some kinda packing error or is that the way they come now. Seams weird leaving it all up the the auto tensor to do all the work but then again in the manual when done correctly the eccentric is centered so ???????

packaging error. You need the eccentric.

Ok the argument I got from the parts guy is he gave me one for a gsx. So correct me if im wrong but isnt the gst and gst use the same timing components? I think sometimes they need to listen to techs and not the computers

Lol yes they more then likely have the same engines. There's only the 4G63 and 420A, turbo'd or n/t, FWD or AWD doesn't matter they all came with the same basic engines so the timing components are the exact same between turbo'd and n/t engines. I don't know much about the 420a's if the timing components are the same or not as the 4G63 (doubt it) but I'm sure a 420a guy can fill us in.

Parts guys aren't smart. GST and GSX are the same timing components.
