I was ebay and I noticed this timing belt kit

what do u think, good or bad buy?

There is nothing in that ad that specificially states they are Mitsu parts. It only says "assembled by Preferred Components using components that meet or exceed OEM specifications." With something like a timing belt, I wouldn't chance it. Plus it doesn't include the auto tensioner. Just my thoughts.

I think he uses non-oem parts and lists the part numbers to either add some legitimacy to his ad or as search terms.

Use OEM timing parts. They have a proven track record. "PCI," or whatever he is selling, does not.

I believe www.partsdinosaur.com uses those same parts for their timing kits. There is a currently thread going about their successes.

But I'm still not sold, myself. I plan for OEM or MAYBE the VIP Garage setup.
