I just got the ECMtuning 2G Speed Density bundle with cable. I'm in the middle of switching to SD now and I'm curious if I can use the SDRATIO tool without having the IAT & MAP Sensor installed? Basically I read that if you're able to utilize a well calibrated MAF then it's easier to use the SDRATIO tool to get the initial basic setup. However this is impossible when using the Speed Density to MAF cable. So in my case I do still have my stock MAF but I don't want to hack my main wire harness which is the main reason I bought a plug-in-play kit. So can I do a cruise/WOT log without IAT & MAP sensor installed and still use the SDRATIO tool? Basically I'm trying to avoid building VE table from scratch since I do have a MAF.

No I don't believe so that would be impossible. If you read correctly you have to install the iat and map sensors wire them in and stil have your maf installed then do the tool.

Doesn't seem impossible but for now it looks like theres no way around it . Alright I guess I'm gonna have to start from base/scratch table. Thanks guys

They give you a base table to start with.
true but my car is far from stock so I was trying to make this an easier transition

Thanks for the response and yeah the base table they provided worked good enough.
