ok so i took a corner wrong and slid into the curb on the driver side. i bent the wheel back into the wheel well. i know i bent hte a-frame, ican see that and i broke one of hte steering knuckles. my querstion is does anyone know about how much it will cost to get a new a-frame.

there is no frame its unabody you would have to replace the hole body. if it isnot to bad a body shop can pull it back into place and you could get the rest of the parts from the junk yard also get some new parts from you local autoparts place like the tierod end and balljoints and so on but good luck to ya hope it all works out great.

DSM's have a Unibody, yes. While they do not have the body-on-frame design, the front rails of every unibody vehicle are still very commonly referred to as the 'frame rails' in the body repair world. And, even if it can't be pulled back into place on a frame rack, it could still be repaired without replacing the whole body of the car. Simply ask the body shop to 'clip' whichever rail was damaged and they can cut off the damaged rail+surrounding area & simply weld a new one on from a donor DSM. :talon:

i literally just did the same thing on sunday except it was on the passenger side. check your lower control arms because one of mine were bent like crazy. i picked up a new, well used, one from a junkyard for 35 bucks. i installed it myself and went and got it aligned already and now its good as new!! good luck :thumb:

From my local pick it yourself junkyard they're 15.00.From a regular yard about 35.00.Get a new balljoint from Autozone for 10.00,they're easy to put on.Make sure you did'nt hurt the K frame.A little ripple won't hurt alignment but a couple of months down the road it might split.Alignment goes crazy, just so you know.

Same trick with my car. replaced lower control arm and it fixed some problems but wheel is still sitting back in wheel well 3/4". what else did i bend? spindle? strut?
