safc and tunning problems

ive been trying to tune my car for like a couple of days know ans made a little bit of progress but im picking up a little knock. my supporting mods are stage 3 chiped ecu. 18g tial 38 maft. 660cc. walbro 190 . afpr. i got the regulator set to 43.and all the other supporting mods. i got the safc on 30%lo 80% hi throttle. know every time i change a tune on the afc do i have to turncar off? like i will go down the rode pujnch it in 1st and 2nd no knock then 3rd gear on my knocj sum gauge like 0 or +7 on the factoiry boost gauge. like im stuck and dont know what to do. if someone can please help thanks alot brandon

Richen up your fuel where your are knocking.

If that doesn't help, you can turn your CAS back a couple degrees to lower your timing.

A Logger and a WideBand will make tuning a lot easier.

i have a glowshift wide band a nd a logger but i dont have the software and the cusb cord! like ive tried riching it up and it doesnt help out any. like im getting knock at 10.9 on the wideband. thats not good! like i punch it in 1st and 2nd gear it fine but when i put it into 3rd since its a longer gear i get like +7 knock on my knock sum gauge. will a smalll boost leak cause detanation?wb thanks

Try to richen up around 10.6 at WOT. I only tune in 3rd or higher because its longer and more load on the engine to cause knock.

How much boost and where is timing peaking at?
