What am I doing wrong, I have an SAFCII and I cant seem to get my mid trim down any.

My trims are like

Low 102
Mid 137
High 116

I want to drop my mid a bit, I tried adding like +5 then +10 correction to the AFC for my low settings between 1600 and 4000 RPM and it did nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

The car runs ok but a bit hot. Around 1500 driven down the highway at 70mph at 3000 ish RPM

Add a little in around 2k rpm. It may take several days to update.

3k-4k is in the hi trim range, not mid.

I was under the impression that 1000 and lower was idle, from 1000 to 4000 was mid, 4000 to whatever is high, or your in high mode whenever you apply more throttle then your high point setting is set to.

1000k is low. 2000k is mid. 3000-4000 is high.

That's because idle is low (under 1000) and highway cruise (3200-3600) is hi. Mid falls inbetween them.

The throttle points have nothing to do with the fuel trims.

That is not bad if you are driving up a slight hill. On the freeway going about 70 my temps will be around 1380F to 1470F. If I am driving up a steady incline it will get hotter.

not really helping, but my mid and highs never change, i think there always at 80%or something. (i "tune" with maft for the fuel trims)

Lean your base out then.
