Running rich, wrong fuel pump?

Hi, Ive searched all the threads but I am not quite certain. I have a 1991 tsi with performace wires and a walbro 255 fuel pump. My car is running rich as all get out and doesnt have much power, I lost to my bros 96 GS. Do I need a new fuel pressure regulator? I have already checked boost leaks. I searched the threads but everybody has modified engines so I dont know if I am getting the right answer. Thanks for the help.

An adjustable fuel pressure regulator would be a good starting point with the 255 pump. After you know fuel pressure is in check, you can start looking for why it is rich if the fpr doesnt cure it.

Also, if your ebay bov isnt recirculated, it will also cause you to run rich. All the answers can be found is either the tech section or newbie forums.
