Running rich and needing fuel pump rewire

Thanks to you guys I figured out that Im running rich and need to do a fuel pump re wire. If at base means idle(sorry for stupid question), and my psi is 26at idle, will doing the re wire change the psi without adjusting. If i do the re wire will it mess with the way it runs now or should i wait until i get a pro tune

I would get some sort of tuning device, you change the psi with a mbc idle changing with fuel rewire, kees a good voltage to the pump.

dsmlink should work for tune right? I have 1gV2 but need keyspand for the laptop connection

I think the OP was talking about the fuel pressure he's seeing at idle...not boost pressure..Anyways, the base fuel pressure should be around 27psi REGULATED and 36-38psi UNREGULATED. A fuel pump rewire if anything may increase your fuel pressure, so that wouldn't help out with your rich condition..
