I need help, My Talon is running really rich. It's a 96' esi, all it has done to it is CAI, welded on can, no cat, header, wires, new plugs, new coolant temp sensor and im pritty sure the 1st o2 sensor is good. I'm probably missing stuff but give me some advice I only get about 18mpg and after idleing for a few minuets it suts out the exhaust. help me out thanks.

It is for my 96 esi not my 97 GS-T. Everything is listed in the first form.

Whoops. Let's try this then:

1. Bring the car to an Autozone or scan it for codes.
2. If no codes come up, pull the O2 and have a look at it. If it's blackened, replace it.
3. While you're at it, check the second O2 sensor as well.

Give that a try,

Andy

you can get the code readings by turning the key on and off i was gonna send a link but the site was down all the codes are listed on neontuners.com
